Built on Aloha.

We started with a simple belief — that every neurodivergent student deserves a place where they are not just accommodated, but truly celebrated.

How It Started

Born From a Need. Built With Heart.

Hoapili was founded by people who understood firsthand what it felt like to search for the right fit for a neurodivergent student — and come up empty. There were programs, yes. But there wasn't a place that felt like home.

So we built one.

Rooted in the spirit of Hawaiʻi and guided by the principle that every student deserves to thrive on their own terms, Hoapili opened its doors as a community dedicated entirely to neurodivergent learners. Since then, we've grown into a vibrant ʻohana of students, families, educators, and community partners — all united by a shared belief that inclusion changes lives.

What We Stand For

Everything We Do Comes Back to These.

Aloha

We lead with love — for our students, their families, and our broader community. Aloha isn't just a greeting here. It's how we show up every single day.

Inclusion

True inclusion means every student has a seat at the table — not just physically, but in every decision, every program, and every interaction on campus.

Empowerment

We believe neurodivergent students are capable of remarkable things. Our role is to create the conditions where they can discover that for themselves.

Community

No student, no family, no educator succeeds alone. We build strong relationships within our walls and across the island — because that's what ʻohana does.

Dedicated Educators. Passionate Advocates. Your ʻOhana.

Our team is made up of experienced educators, support specialists, and community advocates who chose to be here — because they believe in this mission deeply.

Every single person on our team shows up every day with one goal — to make sure every student feels seen, supported, and celebrated.

From Our ʻOhana

"Hoapili has made a huge impact on my child's behavior and prospective in life. He is now willing to work harder towards goals and he is a lot more happy knowing that he can look forward to being with peers throughout the week. Hoapili has also strengthened his ability to want to learn new things."
