Learn About Our ProgramsShouldn't Everyone Have a Place to Belong?
Hoapili is the Hawaiian word for "best friend."
Many neurodivergent students feel like outsiders in a world not built for them. At Hoapili, we're changing that. We don't just help students feel included — we create a community where they are celebrated, supported, and put in the spotlight.
In Hawaiʻi, hoapili means best friend — someone who walks beside you. That's exactly what we do for neurodivergent students and the families who love them.
Inclusion Isn't a Goal, It's Our Foundation

By partnering with local athletes, Hoapili's sports clinics use sports like basketball and football to foster empathy, empowerment, and lasting friendships.
Hoapili University
A college-like experience with weekly classes and field trips — providing neurodivergent young adults the opportunity for continued learning after high school.
Real Families. Real Stories.
"Hoapili has made a huge impact on my child's behavior and prospective in life. He is now willing to work harder towards goals and he is a lot more happy knowing that he can look forward to being with peers throughout the week. Hoapili has also strengthened his ability to want to learn new things."
